Makayla is in a theater class. They will be performing the play Enchanted this year. For one of her classes, she had to prepare a 1 minute talent. She chose to sing the theme from Strawberry Shortcake. She practiced all week and the whole way to class in the car, she even started doing a little dance with it. But when it came time to actually perform she got shy. She did sing though, so at least we know this class is working. She is slowly coming out of her shell around others.

Alyssa's Tumbling
Alyssa was in tumbling class last year. These clips are her doing her different step she's learned. Jumping backwards, forward, hopping- she needed help with her balance on some of them. The cartwheels are my favorite.
Along with the learning comes the playing. This is Lyss' favorite part of tumbling!
Actually, it's fun to watch too!

Matthew was dancing to the music on my MP3 player. Luckily the camera was close by, so I got some of it on camera before he decided he was done.

Draper temple
We went on a tour of the new Draper temple. The temple grounds are not complete so I couldn't take photos of the kids on the beautiful temple grounds, but we got shots of them holding a pamphlet about the Draper Temple in a church nearby the temple.
It was a fun family outing everyone enjoyed it!

Makayla's favorite part was the baptismal font, she can't wait until she's 12 and can go do baptisms for the dead.
Alyssa's favorite part was the celestial room. "The room where Mary, Joseph and Jesus are" we're not sure why she says that about that room, but she swears that's where they are. The only reason we know it's the celestial room, is because she said they were in the room with the sparkly top, and the celestial room has a breath taking chandelier at the ceiling.
Maybe the veil was very thin for her in there, and she saw something the rest of us didn't see.
Matthew got excited at every single picture of Jesus we saw. He definitely knows who he is!
Pat-a-cake
After we went to the Draper Temple tour, we all went out to dinner. Aunt Emmy had Matt playing Pat-a-cake. It was so cute.
Shovel helper?
Matt was helping me shovel, he would scoop it and then drop it right next to him. Not productive at all, but sooooo cute!

Once there was a snow man...
We recorded the kids singing once there was a snow man, our closing song at our 1st FHE.
