Matt's 2nd birthday

Matthew's birthday was on the 22nd of April.  We had a small family party for him that day, then on Sunday the 26th we had a big family party with all our close family and friends.  He made off with another haul and I'm sure he didn't realize what all the fuss was about, but he sure had a lot of fun and enjoyed all the attention that he got!!!

I painted Makayla's old rocking chair red 

and added Matt's name and fire trucks, etc

He loves it!!!!

He got a red (fire truck) from Aunt Leslie & 

Uncle Ammon...It's his favorite of all the gifts!

Not only was it a "Ny-Nee"(Lightning) cake

Matt's cast

IT'S OFF!!!!!!

We got Matt's cast off on his birthday! (4/22)  He was a little scared at first because the cast cutter was noisy and made his leg vibrate, but once he realized it wasn't hurting him he was fine.  

He will stand on it, but will not walk on it!  If he has something to support himself he will walk a little, with a limp and on his tippy toes (like he did with his cast)

The Dr. Said that it will probably take him a few days to realize it works again.  So I guess we'll take it as it comes.  I just hope that day comes soon, right now he wants to be carried everywhere!

Easter Sunday

We had a lot of fun on Easter.  It was such a nice day so we went outside and played with the new sidewalk chalk and bubbles the kids got in their baskets.  We also had our own little egg hunt.  The kids thought that was great, then they sat and ate candy like crazy.  It was a fun Easter.
