This is the Place memorial May 2010

While camping up East Canyon we decided to take a day and site see.

We had never been to this is the place before so we thought this would be fun to try. We didn't get to see and do it all, so we'll have to go back one of these days.

We had so much fun!!!! We learned how to wash and dry our clothes.

And plow the garden...

When all the "chores" were done we learned some new games too

Like hoops & Graces

and this one I call, don't mess with Mama or this game will quickly bruise your bottom!!!

I finally got the ball in one of the holes so no-one got a bruised bum :)

We visited the petting zoo, and rode on the pony's

fed the baby goats

held the baby chicks

We learned how to dip and make our own candles_

We went to school-

rode on a horse drawn carriage

played in some old houses

We had to wait forever for lunch, so the kids came up with their own games to play. Just like the pioneers. lol

Matthew got a shave

petted the sheep in the coral behind the house!

printed newspapers

colored our own wooden farm animal

then ate ice cream outside by the statue before we headed home! It was a long, busy day and we still didn't do it all. lol
