Happy Halloween

Halloween...what do I say? The kids chose who they wanted to be and we found costumes accordingly! At first Makayla wanted to be a cowgirl, but after we went costume shopping she changed her mind to Alex Russo (Selena Gomez) from Disney channels Wizards of Waverly Place. Alyssa wanted to be Ariel, no surprise there! And last, but not least, Matt is way into Elmo right now. So I figured that would work for him this year! I had a hard time getting good shots of all 3 of them looking at the camera and smiling at the same time. But I tried! I get a few points for trying right? Oh and we dressed up Abby, our golden retriever, as a fire dog.

Makayla as Alex Russo

Alyssa as Princess Ariel

Matthew as Elmo

Abby as a Layton Fire Department dog

Matt with his Mickey Mouse pumpkin

Makayla with her scary cat pumpkin

Alyssa with her Ariel pumpkin

All 3 with their jack o lanterns

Happy Halloween!

We had our traditional pizza and "witches brew" for dinner.
This is the kids discovering mom really is a witch!!!! (Alyssa told me so!)

Carving Jack O Lanterns

We started carving the pumpkins right after breakfast. We wanted to get it done early since Scott had to work later that day. We let the kids choose the design they wanted and each one got to help with the carving.

Alyssa chose an Ariel pattern

Makayla chose a scary cat

And Matthew chose Mickey Mouse!

Halloween Party

We went to the annual Lindberg (Scott's mom's family) Halloween Party. The kids got dressed up and played some fun games. They had a lot of fun

Our trip to fernwood

We took our annual trip up to fern wood for a small BBQ and hike. We love to go up every fall and see all the pretty leaves changing colors. It was Beautiful.

Headed out for the hike...

We stopped for a family photo
And one of our cute kids on the bridge.

I loved how this bush had only one red leaf on it!

Ruth's Baby Shower

I threw a baby shower for my BFF Ruth. She is due on the 10th of January, and IT'S A GIRL!!! We are impatiently awaiting the time for baby Ella to get here. In the mean time I decided to throw her a party and help her get some much needed baby items!
We had a great time playing games, and visiting, etc....Good times :D
Ruth Crawmer my "expecting" BFF

****a frozen baby****
We had babies frozen in ice cubes we were
trying to thaw, the first one who's "water broke"
was the winner. I told them they could do
whatever they wanted to break their water.
Lindsay chewed her baby out!!!! It worked
and it didn't take long at all. lol
****Lindsay's baby****

Gwen, Tara, April, Michelle, Lindsay
(some of our lovely neighborhood friends)
We did a 'mad libs' story for Ruth, it was funny!
Erin, Amy and her girls
Allison, Ruth & Erin

We played a game, where we had to guess
how big Ruth's belly is and then measure
our guess against Ruth's 'prego' belly!
Lindsay's was so huge it went
around them both!!!!
Tara's was a little big...
Adria was pretty close
(this one is my favorite)
Erin, Ruth's daughter, guess a little big.
Look at the disgust on Ruth's face!!!!

Time for the good stuff!!!

The lovely, glowing, mamma to be.

The shoes were the party favors
gifts, and a few of the decorations!
