Makayla's baptism

Our baby kayla got baptized on July 11, 2009.

It was an emotional day for all of us. I swear she was just learning to walk and now she's 8 and a member of the LDS church!

We met at the chapel where we found out that the other girl that was suppose to be baptized from our ward had the time wrong, so Kayla got to be alone and had the whole day to herself. She didn't have to share the spot light with anyone. :)

After the baptism we went to the park and had a picnic with all our family and close friends. It was a fun day.

We made her wait to have her family

birthday party on her baptism day,

so that everyone didn't have to come up twice.

So this is her birthday/baptism cake!

them all was a challenge!

She had to blow them out quick!

Opening gifts!

She had a fun surprise, her cousin Nautica was

up with her mom for the month. So she was able

to come to the baptism. Kayla was so excited to see her!
